About Me

I am a cartoonist and caricature artist with over 15 years of experience in editorial cartooning, live caricature, and teaching. I have taught cartoon and caricature to youth and teens in both Iran and Canada, including five years at the Iranian House of Culture in North Vancouver and three years at Nazanin Art Academy.

My work has been published in well-known newspapers such as Hamshahri, Shargh, La Source, and Business in Vancouver. I have also collaborated with animation studios such as Bardel, WildBrain, Big Bad Boo, and Titmouse.

I have received several awards in international cartoon festivals, including:

• 3rd Place, World Press Freedom Cartoon Competition (Canada, 2017)

• 2nd Place, International Animation + Cartoon Competition (China, 2004)

• Best Iranian Caricature Master, Irancartoon (2004)

I am passionate about sharing visual storytelling with the next generation and helping young artists develop their creative voices through cartooning and caricature.
